About LYPS

A structured, inclusive environment

London Youth Premier Showcase (LYPS) is an independent youth football programme operated by Beyond Education Sports Foundation, a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (Charity No. 1197957).

LYPS provides young people with a structured, inclusive and development-focused environment in which to participate in competitive football, build confidence and develop sporting and personal skills.

LYPS operates independently and maintains its own competition rules, safeguarding requirements and standards of conduct. It is not represented as being affiliated to, operated by, or acting on behalf of The Football Association or any County Football Association. Participating organisations remain responsible for ensuring that their participation is compatible with any separate memberships, affiliations, contracts or regulatory obligations that apply to them.

Raising a concern

Routine football, fixture and team-management queries should normally be raised first with your club manager or Director of Football, who may contact the relevant LYPS department where appropriate.

Safeguarding concerns do not need to go through a club. A child, parent, carer, volunteer or other person may raise a safeguarding concern directly with Beyond Education Sports Foundation using the safeguarding contact details published on this website.

Photography & filming

Photographs and video may be taken at LYPS activities for legitimate programme, safeguarding, record-keeping or promotional purposes where appropriate.

Parents/carers and young people will be told how official images may be used. BESF will maintain an appropriate permissions or opt-out process and will take particular care when publishing images of children.

If you do not want an identifiable image of your child used for promotional purposes, please use the published photography/media contact route or inform your club so that the request can be recorded and communicated appropriately.

Images and recordings will be handled in accordance with BESF’s privacy notice, safeguarding procedures and photography/media policy.
